The annual cleaning before Lunar New Year is coming up! The thought of cleaning the window screens covered in dust is giving me a headache! Of course, you should remove the screens for cleaning if you want them to be 100 percent clean.

However, dismounting and remounting of the screens take large trouble if they are not easy to be removed and washed. At this point, we can use a vacuum cleaner to do the job.

First, spread newspaper out and paste it to the inside of the screens with its edges fixed with tape.

Next, suck up dirt using the vacuum cleaner on the outside of the window screens. And then, remove the newspaper, pasting it to the other side, and do the same again.

After that, prepare two wet towels moistened with a detergent with one wiping the inside of the screen and the other outside. Then clean the screen using the two towels at the same time. Follow the same steps again with towels moistened with water. Finally, the black, dirty window screens become clean and bright again!
